About the Company

A leading high quality food manufacturer and key supplier to major UK supermarkets, is looking for a Production Planner. With a growing product range and a commitment to excellence, the business is looking for a Production Planner to support operations and drive efficiency.

This is a fast-paced, dynamic role overseeing over 100+ SKUs, ensuring seamless production planning while working cross functionally with key departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage daily production schedules, ensuring alignment with machinery availability and efficiency
• Monitor forward forecasts to ensure all products are delivered on time and in full
• Collaborate with the Commercial team to align production with customer requirements
• Plan for promotions, product changes, and new product launches
• Liaise with internal teams, including Maintenance, Prep, and Production, to ensure materials and labour availability
• Troubleshoot production planning challenges, working cross-functionally to find solutions
• Attend daily meetings to communicate updates and required actions

Ideal Candidate:

Experience in food manufacturing - Essential 
Strong planning and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Excel - High level
Experience using MRP or ERP systems - Oracle knowledge beneficial
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
