Location: Glasgow
Salary: £28,500 + Benefits
Type: Full-Time, Permanent

I am currently partnering with a respected and well-established organisation in the engineering services sector who are seeking an organised and proactive Service Desk Coordinator to join their Glasgow-based Service Desk team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working within a fast-paced environment, coordinating workloads, communicating with engineers, and ensuring excellent customer service delivery. The role will be working a 40 hour week, rolling rota of 4 days on 4 off, shifts are either, 08:00-18:30 or 09:30 to 20:00. This will be based fully in the office. 

The Role:

The Service Desk Coordinator will play a key role in organising and prioritising engineering schedules, ensuring service targets and customer expectations are consistently met. You’ll act as a key point of communication between engineers, customers, and internal teams, helping to manage resources, monitor KPIs, and support the smooth running of day-to-day service operations.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Organising daily workloads and scheduling tasks for engineers
  • Ensuring service levels are met and deadlines are achieved
  • Assisting in delivering KPI targets and customer satisfaction goals
  • Responding professionally to customer queries and complaints
  • Coordinating parts and equipment ordering and allocation
  • Supporting continuous improvement across the service desk
  • Liaising with internal departments to maintain efficient workflow
  • Monitoring team performance and reporting any concerns to management
  • Maintaining accurate records in the customer maintenance management system
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience in a scheduling, coordination, service desk, or similar administrative role
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to prioritise workloads in a busy environment
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office and working with data
  • A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
