Job Description

Relief Store Manager (Multi- Site)

Locations: Bracknell (base), covering Basingstoke, Reading, High Wycombe, with occasional travel to Bristol & Kingston

Salary: Up to £32,500

Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday–Friday (8:00am–6:00pm) | Weekend rota (1 in 3): Saturdays 10:00am–5:00pm, Sundays 10:00am–4:00pm

A dynamic multi-site role responsible for supporting store performance across several locations. As a Relief Store Manager, you will lead operations, drive sales, and ensure compliance while delivering consistently high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

    • Take full operational responsibility in the absence of the Store Manager
    • Drive sales performance, manage enquiries, and maximise conversion rates
    • Lead, coach, and support team members to achieve targets
    • Ensure compliance with financial, operational, and Health & Safety procedures
    • Conduct store audits, including quarterly visits to Bristol and Kingston
    • Monitor store performance, reporting, and local market activity
    • Maintain high standards of store presentation and operational efficiency
    • Support ad hoc project work as required

Key Requirements

    • Proven management experience, with the ability to deputise when required
    • Strong numerical and analytical skills
    • High attention to detail, particularly in compliance and audit processes
    • Commercially aware with the ability to identify and maximise sales opportunities
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills
    • Full UK driving licence required; willingness to travel between sites
    • Must hold business-use vehicle insurance (salary reflects this requirement)
