Job Description

Pertemps Swindon are currently recruiting for an experienced Audit and Accounts Senior in the SN1 area. This role will involve a 50/50 split between audit and accounts work, focusing on both Charity/Not-for-Profit and commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and deliver audit and accounts assignments for various sectors, including Charity and Not-for-Profit, Limited Companies (including groups), Sole Traders, and Partnerships, using both balanced systems and cloud-based software, as well as incomplete records.
Prepare draft corporation tax and business tax computations, including relevant supporting analysis.
Plan and budget audit assignments, utilizing analytical review techniques.
Lead and assist in audit assignments, overseeing all aspects of the audit process.
Supervise and review the work of junior staff.
Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring timely delivery of information and services.
Support the Manager and Partners with ad-hoc project work as required.

The right candidate:

ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified with at least 3 years of practice experience.
Experience or interest in the charity and Not-for-Profit sector.
Strong multitasking, time management, and communication skills.
Proficiency in bookkeeping software, particularly cloud-based platforms (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero).
