A respected and long‑standing Dorset law firm is looking to appoint a Senior Litigation Solicitor to join its dispute resolution team as part of a clear succession plan. This is a genuine opportunity for an experienced litigator who is ready to step into a leadership role and shape the future of the department.

The Opportunity
This role offers far more than day‑to‑day fee earning. You’ll take ownership of a broad and high‑quality litigation caseload, while playing an integral role in the continued development of the team. Working closely with senior management, you’ll have real influence over how the department evolves, with a defined pathway to Head of Department.

What you’ll be doing
• Managing a varied general litigation and dispute resolution caseload
• Handling matters with autonomy, applying sound commercial judgement
• Supporting and mentoring junior lawyers as the team grows
• Working alongside firm leadership on the long‑term direction of the department

About you
• 7+ PQE in general litigation or dispute resolution
• Technically strong, commercially minded, and pragmatic
• Comfortable running cases independently
• Ready to move into a leadership / Head of Department position in the near future
• Looking for long‑term security and progression within one firm
