JOB TITLE: Industrial Disease Lawyer                  
PQE REQUIRED: 3+        
LOCATION: Cheshire                
SALARY: £45,000 (DOE)                    

THE ROLE:
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of Industrial Disease claims from inception to conclusion, ensuring compliance with statutory legislation, the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant case law. The role requires the ability to work effectively in a performance driven environment while maintaining high standards of client care. The fee earner will be expected to deliver clear, practical legal advice, meet billing targets and manage competing deadlines with confidence and professionalism.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience handling Industrial Disease claims and be capable of managing files independently as a complete case handler. Strong litigation experience and technical knowledge of Industrial Disease matters are essential, along with a proven billing record.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure and a strong attention to detail. Good IT skills and excellent written and verbal communication are required, as is a sound working knowledge of compliance requirements, relevant codes of conduct and accounts rules. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team is essential. On a personal level, the successful candidate will be driven, conscientious, professional and honest, with a personable approach and a genuine commitment to ongoing development and continuous improvement.
