THE ROLE:
A well-established firm is seeking an experienced and ambitious Family Solicitor to take a leading role within its growing family law practice. This is an excellent opportunity to shape and develop the department while making a meaningful, long term impact within the firm. You will manage a varied caseload of privately funded family matters including divorce, financial remedy work, private children matters, cohabitation disputes and pre- and post-nuptial agreements. Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will provide clear, commercially sound advice while maintaining the highest standards of client care. In addition to fee-earning responsibilities, you will play an active role in business development, generating new instructions and building strong relationships within the local community. You will also mentor and support an enthusiastic newly qualified Solicitor, ensuring ongoing development and consistent quality across the department.

THE CANDIDATE:
You will be a qualified Family Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience and a strong background in privately funded family law matters. You will be confident managing a full caseload independently and demonstrate excellent commercial awareness alongside a client-focused approach. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills and be proactive, motivated and ready to take ownership of a growing department. This role would suit someone seeking a long-term opportunity where they can make a genuine and lasting contribution.
