Job Description

Pertemps Managed Solutions is working with a leading self-storage company to find an Assistant Store Manager for their Guildford location.
Hours: 40 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days on a rota basis. Shifts will vary between early and late to cover store opening times.

If you're a people person with a hands-on approach and a drive to exceed targets, this could be a great fit. You’ll support the Store Manager in all aspects of running the store, helping to grow the business and deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding customer service in person, by phone, and via email
  • Maximise sales by promoting products and services
  • Support daily operations including health & safety checks and site upkeep
  • Handle admin tasks such as contracts and debt management
  • Act as a key holder, opening and closing the store
  • Coach and support sales advisors
  • Contribute to local marketing and recruitment efforts

  • Previous management or supervisory experience
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritise and work independently or as part of a team
