Job Description

HGV Drivers needed

Pertemps Crewe are currently recruiting for HGV AM and PM Drivers for their peak period for their prestigious client based in Crewe.

For this HGV / LGV / C+E Driver role, you will be responsible for:

Driving a boxed sided heavy goods vehicle
Deliveries of caged chilled, frozen and ambient caged goods to stores across the Northwest
Average 3 to 4 drops
You will be expected to roll the cages onto the tail lift and the store will do the rest
Shift length on average are between 8-10 hours

For this HGV / LGV / C+E Driver role, you will need:

CE Licence
Full UK Licence
Digi + CPC Card
No more than 6 points
To have held your licence for a minimum of 18 months, with 6 months HGV experience

Details of this HGV / LGV / C+E Driver role:

Most of the shifts are starting between 0300 and 0500 on days and 1400 to 1800 on nights
Pay ranges from £16.06PH - £30.88PH
You will need to do a 3-day assessment – Day 1 is Driving and Theory, Day 2 and 3 are buddy days – these are paid
