Job OverviewPertemps is currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 2 Waste Oil Tanker Drivers to join a well-established business in Avonmouth. This role is ideal for drivers looking for long-term stability in a temp-to-perm position.

 

We are hiring two drivers:

• One to cover Bristol and the Southwest
  
  
• One to cover North of the M4 into the Midlands

  • 22 jobs completed over 5 days = £160 bonus
    
    
  • 17 jobs completed over 4 days = £120 bonus
    
    
• £27 per night out allowance (for 2 nights out per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Operating an HGV Class 2 waste oil tanker to collect and transport waste oil from customer sites
  
  
• Providing excellent customer service, maintaining professionalism, and building strong client relationships
  
  
• Ensuring compliance with road transport laws, company policies, and health & safety regulations
  
  
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring the tanker is maintained to a high standard
  
  
• Accurately completing paperwork and records for all collections
  
  
• Committing to two nights out per week, with an allowance provided
  
  

Requirements

• HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence – Minimum six months experience required, one year preferred
  
  
• Valid CPC & Digi Tacho Card
  
  
• Two nights out per week required
  
  
• Experience in waste oil collection, tanker driving, or hazardous goods is beneficial but not essential
  
  
• Strong customer service skills and a professional approach
  
  
• Ability to work independently and commit to a long-term role
  
  
• No more than six penalty points (No DR, DD, IN, or TT endorsements)
