HGV Class 1 driver

Pertemps are proud to be partnering with Northumbrian Water to recruit for their Bioresources team. We are looking for an experienced Class 1 HGV driver on a temporary basis.

We are seeking an experienced Class1 driver to drive an artic Vacuum Tanker, full training will be provided if you do not have Vacuum Tanker experience. You will be responsible for loading sludge from their largest Sewage Treatment works and then transporting it back to Howdon for processing treatment, on average this is 5-7 loads per shift.

Due to the nature of the product, Health and Safety awareness is essential and professionalism must be upheld at all times.

This is up to 43 hours per week over 4 shifts. It is a 3 weekly rotating shift pattern.
- Dayshift - 6am - 5.30pm
- Nightshift - 6pm - 5.30am

Must have a valid C+E licence, CPC and Tachograph.
