Laminator

We are looking for a skilled Fiberglass Laminator to join our client in Coventry. You’ll be working on a variety of products and Components, with competitive pay and great hours.

Pay: £12.50 – £14.50 per hour (DOE)
Location: Coventry
Hours: 37.5 per week

• Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:00 (30-min lunch)
• Friday: 07:30 – 13:00 (early finish every week!)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare moulds and apply gel coat to specification
• Read and interpret lay-up drawings
• Carry out laminating processes (wet-lay, spray lamination, trimming, polishing)
• Mix and apply resin and hardeners, ensuring a smooth, defect-free finish
• Use rollers, brushes, hand tools, bonding pastes, core materials, and jigs
• Identify and correct laminating defects, maintaining high quality standards
• Record job times accurately and follow strict health & safety practices
• Support across departments when required

About You:

• Previous GRP/Composite laminating experience (wet-lay, trimming, polishing, grinding)
• Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach
• Reliable team player with good communication skills
• Committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
