Semi Skilled Operative

Pertemps Lincoln are looking to hire multiple people for our customer in Gainsborough, with start dates due in the coming month. Our customer is a global manufacturer who are growing their site and would like to add to their already successful manufacturing team. As a Semi-Skilled Operator, you’ll play a vital role in turning raw materials into finished products that meet the high-quality standards our customers expect.

This is a varied role, where you’ll gain hands-on experience in multiple areas of production, including:

• Incoming Goods
• Laser Operations
• Tube Forming and Sheeting
• Canning
• Stores
• Assembly and Packing
• Despatch

 
What duties will I have?

• Maintain high housekeeping standards in all work areas.
• Generate and maintain all relevant documentation.
• Work professionally with all functional teams to minimise waiting times during production.
• Work to customer specifications.
• Adhere to Health & Safety (H&S) policies, ensuring a safe environment for yourself and others.
• Identify and report risks, near misses, or unsafe conditions to maintain safety and environmental standards.

What skills and experience do I need?

• Basic computer literacy.
• Experience working with metal-forming equipment such as presses, rollers, and formers.
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in various production areas.

 
How much will I be paid?
£11.44 to £13.60 per hour, depending on your experience.

What hours will I need to work?
Monday to Friday 6AM to 2:30PM
