Manufacturing Operative

Pertemps are recruiting for an award-winning company based in Horncastle. The company, who are respected as one of the leading companies in the UK in the packaging industry are looking Machine Operatives to work in the manufacturing department on a Permanent basis. You will be required to assist in the running of machinery to achieve the finished product which is a wide range of paper bags.  

Full training will be given; however, applicants must have experience of working in a manufacturing or production environment and have basic mechanical knowledge.

What hours will I be working?
You will be required to work rotating shifts which will be 6:00am – 2:00pm one week then 2:00pm – 10:00pm.

How much will I be paid?
£11.95 to £13.32 per hour

As a Machine Operative you will be expected to carry out the following duties –

• Assisting with the running of the machines
• Feeding the machine with paper or card correctly
• Taking products of the back of the machine when the process is complete.
• Quality checking the product.
• Stacking products neatly on a pallet ready for delivery
