The company

There is an exciting opportunity for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join a small and thriving building services consultancy, based in between Plymouth and Exeter. The work covers several sectors including, data centres, high end residential, education, healthcare, and leisure.

What will you be doing?

• Engaging with clients from multiple projects at various stages.
• Supervise the production of drawings in 2D and 3D design using AutoCAD/Revit
• Engage with design teams and clients during the design phase of projects.
• Co-ordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Financial management of projects.
• Monitor progress and taking a leading role of contact between client and team.

What are we looking for?

• Ideally you will be a chartered engineer.
• A minimum 8+ years’ experience in designing electrical systems for buildings.
• Strong experience managing clients.
• Able to lead projects with a view to increasing management and leadership responsibilities.
• Skilled in software such as Amtech, AutoCAD, Revit, IES or Dialux
• Interest in responding to the climate emergency.
