Sustainability Consultant
Office Location: Central London (Hybrid)
Salary: £40k - £60k (DOE)
They are a well-established engineering, design, and sustainability consultancy founded in the 1970s, with 2 offices in the UK. As a 100% employee-owned trust, they deliver innovative, sustainable solutions across the UK, with expertise in MEP, sustainability, vertical transportation, NABERS, and energy modelling.
They’re looking for a motivated Sustainability Consultant to join their growing London team. You’ll lead and contribute to projects across commercial, mixed-use, and industrial sectors, providing expert advice and working closely with clients and design teams.

They’re looking for a motivated Sustainability Consultant to join their growing London team. You’ll lead and contribute to projects across commercial, mixed-use, and industrial sectors, providing expert advice and working closely with clients and design teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead sustainability aspects of projects and attend client/design meetings
- Prepare reports, sustainability statements, and planning documentation
- Conduct site inspections and provide clear, detailed feedback
- Use tools like One Click LCA; stay current with UK sustainability standards
- Mentor junior staff and collaborate with wider project teams
- 2+ years’ experience in sustainability consultancy (especially commercial offices)
- Proficient in One Click LCA
- Familiar with UKGBC, LETI, RIBA, GLA, and other industry frameworks
- Strong report writing, communication, and organisational skills
- Confident, client-facing, and a strong team player
- BREEAM Assessor, WELL AP, Fitwel, ActiveScore, or RESET accreditation
- Experience with circular economy strategies and planning statements
- Full UK driving licence and/or working towards IEMA/CIBSE membership
