Job Description

Job Title: Glass Operator
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday-Thursday 07:00-16:00 & Friday 07:00-12:30
Location: Livingston

Main Responsibilities:

Running waterjet cutting machinery to produce accurate cuts while reducing material waste.
Safely moving and positioning large glass panels using overhead cranes and vacuum lifting equipment.
Finishing and shaping glass edges to meet required dimensions and quality standards.
Checking glass products during processing for damage, imperfections, or faults.
Performing regular cleaning and basic upkeep of machinery and work areas.

Experience & Skills

Previous experience working within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
A safety-first mindset when handling delicate or breakable materials.
Strong eye for detail with a focus on maintaining high quality standards.
Ability to follow processes accurately and collaborate effectively within a team.
