About the Role
Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of Essex & Suffolk Water for a dedicated and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team where you’ll play a key role in ensuring customers receive timely assistance with water leak issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively contact customers who have previously reported water leaks
• Check in to confirm whether issues have been resolved
• Provide clear guidance and support to customers on resolving minor leaks where appropriate
• Escalate unresolved issues by raising tickets for engineering teams
• Accurately update customer records and maintain detailed notes of interactions
• Deliver excellent customer service with empathy and professionalism at all times

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a customer service role (contact centre experience desirable)
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to guide customers through solutions
• Good attention to detail and administrative skills
• Comfortable using multiple systems and updating records in real time
• A positive, team-oriented attitude
