Job Title: CNC Turner – Setter (Gears & Gauge Manufacturing)

Location: Tamworth / Nuneaton
Salary: £18.00 – £20.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Turner with setting experience to join our skilled team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC lathes to produce high-precision components in line with technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and operate CNC turning machines (Fanuc/Siemens controls preferred)
• Interpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerances
• Inspect parts using measuring equipment such as micrometers, gauges, and verniers
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities and support production targets

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner with setting capability
• Background in precision engineering, ideally within gear or gauge product manufacturing
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
