Pay Rate: Up to £14.00 per hour (dependant on experience)
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 07:00–16:30
Employment Type: Temporary | Full-Time

About the Role
Pertemps is recruiting for a Production Operative to join a leading engineering and manufacturing company in Birmingham. This position is ideal for a practical, hands-on individual looking to develop new skills in a fast-paced workshop environment.


Key Responsibilities:

• Assist welders with daily production tasks
• Interpret and follow technical drawings for on-site installations
• Prepare and maintain workstations to ensure efficient work flow
• Contribute to creating Standard Operating Procedures for the team
• To liaise with management to effectively give updates and manage time lines for projects

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Experience in leading a small team and managing workloads
• Previous experience in a workshop or production environment is essential
