Welder Fabricator

Pertemps West Bromwich are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join a leading Manufacturing Company in Smethwick.

You will be working on heavy-gauge steel up to 25mm thickness, handling welding, fabrication, and reading technical drawings to deliver high-quality work while following safety standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Welding & Fabrication: Perform high-quality fabrication and welding tasks according to specifications.
• Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Quality & Safety: Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and quality standards.
• Collaboration: Work effectively with the team to meet production targets and deadlines.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience: Proven background in heavy-gauge steel fabrication and welding (up to 25mm thickness).
• Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with precision.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality of work.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of workplace safety practices and standards.

Hours: Monday – Thursday, 06:30 am – 4:15 pm (Fridays off)

Pay: £14ph - £15ph per hour with overtime during busy periods
