Machine Operative

Pertemps West Bromwich are currently seeking a machine operator on a rotating shift pattern. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to join a well-established and growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up slitting machines to cut metal to specified dimensions.
• Ensure machines are running efficiently and safely.
• Monitor quality of materials and finished products, ensuring they meet company standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery as required.
• Work closely with the production team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience operating slitting machines, ideally working with metal.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
• Flexibility to work on a rotating shift pattern.
• Great attitude and willingness to learn

 

This role will be working on a rotating shift pattern of 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 Monday to Friday with pay varying from £12.26 to £14.36 dependant on experience.
