Location: Wolverhampton

Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm (Monday to Friday)

Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour

Assignment Type: On-going Temporary

 

Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Wolverhampton-based business within the specialist vehicle hire and services sector. Our client has a strong reputation in their field, operating nationwide and providing reliable, high-quality solutions to their customers. They are seeking a motivated Finance Assistant to join their friendly and supportive accounts team on an on-going temporary basis.

 

Key Duties:

• Processing purchase invoices and reconciling supplier statements
  
  
• Assisting with sales ledger duties, including raising and allocating invoices
  
  
• Supporting with credit control and monitoring outstanding payments
  
  
• Handling daily bank reconciliations and cash allocation
  
  
• Assisting with month-end preparation and reporting tasks
  
  
• Providing general administrative and finance support to the wider team
  
  

 

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a finance/accounts role
  
  
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems such as Sage
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  
  
• A positive, team-oriented attitude
