CNC setter/operator

Are you an experienced CNC setter/operator looking for a new opportunity in the Wolverhampton area ?

 

Our specialist fasteners based client are looking for someone to join their team on the shop floor.

 

Key Skills:

 

• Proven experience using Fanuc controls (essential)
  
  
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes for special fasteners
  
  
• Experience operating 2-axis lathes
  
  
• Advantageous to have experience setting/operating milling machines
  
  
• Skilled in working with both bar-fed and chucking lathes
  
  
• Proficient in product inspection, using gauges and precision measuring equipment
  
  
• Experience with fitting and boring soft jaws
  
  
• Ability to change tips and adjust/move offsets
  
  
• Capable of operating multiple machines simultaneously
  
  
• Self-motivated with a positive, “can-do” attitude
  
  
• Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
  
  
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to maintain focus under pressure
  
  

 

Pay Rate:

 

£14 - £16ph (Dependant on experience)

 

Working hours:

 

7:00am - 16:00pm (Monday - Thursday)

 

7:00 - 16:00pm (Friday)
