About Us:
We are a well-established structural engineering company specialising in the design, fabrication, and installation of structural steelwork. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Foreman to lead our fabrication team and ensure high standards of productivity, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate a team of fabricators and welders in the workshop.
  
  
• Oversee fabrication and welding activities to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.
  
  
• Read and interpret structural drawings and welding symbols.
  
  
• Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and UKCA marking requirements.
  
  
• Liaise with project managers and quality control inspectors.
  
  
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workshop environment.
  
  
• Conduct toolbox talks and promote a strong health & safety culture.
  
  

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience as a workshop foreman or supervisor in a structural steel environment.
  
  
• Strong fabrication and welding skills (MIG, MAG, and TIG preferable).
  
  
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  
  
• In-depth understanding of UKCA marking and associated documentation and compliance.
  
  
• Knowledge of quality control processes and welding procedures.
  
  
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  
  

Desirable:

• Forklift or overhead crane experience.
  
  
•  a firm understanding of UKCA or RWC ( responsible welding Co Ordinator )
