Job Title: Fabricator (Temp to Perm)
Location: Irlam, Manchester
Salary: Circa £31,473 per annum

About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator to join a well-established and growing manufacturer. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering the chance to secure a long-term position with a reputable company after an initial probationary period.

Key Duties Will Include:

• Operating machinery such as Laser, Nodi, Press Brake, Rolling machine, Seam welder, Load and off load device.
• Grinding.
• Laser cut parts to allocation.
• Ensure that the work undertaken is completed efficiently and machine maintenance is carried out as per instruction.
• Reporting all non-conforming parts/parts of poor quality to the supervisor.
• Comply with the standards and procedures adopted by the company, comply with all health and safety mandates.
• Complete all work within the given timeframe and to specification, complete all relevant quality checks and fulfil all recording requirements.
• Complete assigned housekeeping activities ensuring a clean safe working environment, participation in activities associated around the manufacture of fan cases and embracing new technologies.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a fabrication or similar role
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Good attention to detail and strong workmanship standards
• Reliable, punctual, and a positive attitude
